Recording steady growth in its ecosystem and with new leadership at the helm, Zilliqa began 2022 on a strong note.

2021 ended off with a blast as we announced our ambitious entry into the metaverse space with Metapolis.

We furthered our ambitions in becoming the blockchain-of-choice for the creator economy in November. With major upgrades to our NFT standards as well as groundbreaking partnerships and announcements, we’re quickly inching towards creating a platform that is built for creators.

October was a great month filled with tons of incredible news for Zilliqa with key announcements and significant partnerships being formalised. From a new CEO, our entry into the esports arena to a Zilliqa trust being set up.

Monumental and historic. September 2021 marked an important milestone for us. It will go down in the books as the month where Zilliqa first achieved interoperability with another blockchain .

We’re currently locking in a massive volume of transactions, over US$1B — across all our dApps.

June was a choppy month for the cryptosphere in general. Regardless of market conditions, Zilliqa doesn’t stop building and this can be seen from the continuous developments in the ecosystem.

March madness came for Zilliqa! March has set a new benchmark for us in terms of activity, dApp developments, transaction volume, media coverage and NFT projects.

February has been a whirlwind month for us marked by significant growth, adoption and push towards greater utility of the $ZIL blockchain.

We started 2021 off on an eventful note, establishing a high growth benchmark for the rest of the year — not to mention celebrating 2 years since our mainnet launch anniversary!

December for Zilliqa was incredibly progress-packed, allowing us to forget — if only for a brief moment — what an unexpected and tumultuous year it had been.

The Zilliqa team had a busy August, working behind-the-scenes to optimise its new operational and reporting structure, and pursuing promising commercial technology leads.
