In their non-stop efforts towards driving adoption of Zilliqa, building strategic partnerships and an innovation-driven ecosystem in a competitive marketplace, we are pleased to share that the growth team has on-boarded two new talented analysts to support them.
The first is Growth and Strategy Analyst — Mervin Ho. In this role, Mervin will conduct market research, analysis and due diligence, and lend support to the ZILHive Accelerator and Education projects.
Mervin has been a blockchain aficionado since 2017. Prior to joining Zilliqa, Mervin was a research assistant for blocks, a DLT research firm, where he specialised in due diligence and market research. He has also held a short stint at Tallysticks, a fintech 100 Europe company aiming to disrupt the trade finance sector with blockchain technology. He also co-founded a startup and created a cashless payment mobile app and analytics platform targeting the retail industry, in which he on-boarded 4 merchants within a year. We’re sure that his interest in blockchain and entrepreneurship will intersect to provide valuable insights for the Zilliqa growth team. Mervin holds an MSc in Banking & Financial Services from the University of Glasgow, and a BSc in Economics from the Singapore Management University. In his spare time, he enjoys video-gaming, long-distance running and learning languages.
We also welcome Madison Tang, who joins us as Growth Analyst. In her role, Madison will work on extensive market research to formulate strategic initiatives, and discover and validate revenue streams for Zilliqa. She will also support ecosystem growth by identifying and funding promising ZILHive grantees seeking early-stage funding. Skilled in investment analysis, market research and strategic partnership development, Madison began her career in Allianz Corporate Development in 2018, where she was actively involved in evaluating Allianz’s regional M&A transactions, JV partnerships and fintech investments. She believes blockchain can open an array of possibilities for the finance industry, and is excited to explore its applications in her new role. Madison holds a BSc in Project Management from National University of Singapore (NUS) and an MSc in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University.
Mervin and Madison — we’re sure you are going to add tremendous value to Zilliqa on our road to enabling OpFi with blockchain. Welcome!
