Zilliqa: A Strategic Update -Where We’ve Been, and Where We’re Going

Over the past six months, Zilliqa has been quieter than usual. That wasn’t an accident. Following the launch of Zilliqa 2.0, we deliberately reduced external noise to focus on something more important than shipping another feature: Clarity.

Clarity on where Zilliqa creates real, defensible value. Clarity on which use cases we can genuinely win in. Clarity on how we operate in a world that is rapidly becoming more regulated, institutional, outcome-driven and revenue driven.

This period was about assessment, alignment, and hard prioritisation.

What we learned

The past two years were a must. The network is now ready for adoption.

Zilliqa technology is robust and the opportunity ahead lies in driving broader adoption

The network today is faster, more scalable, EVM-compatible, and operationally more robust than it has been at any point in its history. The foundation is solid.

What matters now is focus - applying that technology where it solves real problems, at scale, for users who actually need it.

Out of this work, we defined five strategic focus areas that will guide Zilliqa’s execution going forward.

Our five focus areas

1. Cross-chain utility

Zilliqa is positioning itself as a practical execution and settlement layer in a multi-chain world, not as an isolated ecosystem. Interoperability, cross-chain flows, and real utility across networks are core priorities.

We see regulated, verifiable identity as foundational for the next phase of blockchain adoption. Zilliqa is aligning around on-chain vLEI identity, enabling compliant wallets, smart contracts, and enterprise-grade interactions.

3. Regulatory-ready environments for enterprises and on-chain funds

Enterprises don’t need more chains - they need predictable, compliant, and auditable environments. Zilliqa is building toward that reality rather than fighting it.

4. Global stable coin flow unification

Stable coins are becoming global financial infrastructure, but liquidity and compliance remain fragmented. Zilliqa aims to play a role in unifying and routing these flows in a regulated, scalable way.

5. RWA collectibles with prediction-market adjacencies

We are exploring non-financialised, identity-rich real-world assets, starting with collectibles. Community validation, reputation, and prediction-style mechanics help create credible value signals before financialisation.

Operational alignment with LTIN

Zilliqa is moving closer to the Liechtenstein Trust Integrity Network (LTIN) in terms of operations and infrastructure.

LTIN provides national-grade, regulator-aligned foundations for identity, validation, and compliance - exactly the building blocks required for the strategic focus areas outlined above.

This alignment strengthens Zilliqa’s ability to serve Enterprises, Institutions, and regulated Markets while remaining Open, Composable, and Decentralised by design.

What comes next

This update is not the end of the conversation. It’s the reset.

Going forward, Zilliqa will move to regular, structured communication focused on:

·       What is being built
·       What is progressing
·       What is blocked
·       What comes next
