We are excited to announce and welcome the newest member of our team. Yiling Ding, formerly with Google, will be joining Zilliqa as our Chief Marketing Officer.
Yiling is an incredible fit for our team. She spent the past four years working with Google in the APAC region, more recently with Google Pay, where she was promoted from Associate Product Marketing Manager all the way to Head of APAC Regional Marketing. During her time with Google she defined the marketing strategies for Google Pay in APAC and developed key partnerships, while collaborating with Google product and engineering departments to double usage of the application. In addition to many other accolades, during her time at Google, she helped form key partnerships and grew APAC marketing-driven revenue for Google Play by 22x, triple APAC’s share of global revenue.
Yiling will be joining Zilliqa to apply her incredible marketing talents towards strategy, partnerships, and driving enterprise and consumer adoption of our platform as we gear up for public release towards the end of 2018 / early 2019 and developing a suite of tools, applications, wallets, and more, to be used by the first companies and developers using our technology.
She is joining us at a perfect time as we ramp up our effort towards greater adoption. We will soon unveil the initial recipients of the $5 million Zilliqa Ecosystem Grant for developers and teams to begin to #buildonZil. Last week, we also announced a partnership with Infoteria Corporation to provide Zilliqa’s technology to build blockchain applications that aim to improve business processes for some of the largest companies in Japan.
Yiling speaks fluent English, Japanese, and Chinese Mandarin and holds a BA in Economics from Wellesley College.
We are thrilled she is joining Zilliqa and look forward to working with her to bring our next-generation blockchain technology to the world.
