Hello everyone,
Did you know that
Transak, the fiat on/off ramp aggregator, now offers a compliant and convenient for anyone looking to convert Indian Rupee (INR) and/or British Pound (GBP) to $ZIL? Zilliqa has teamed up with them to help our UK and Indian users get $ZIL even more easily. We recount the process for you step-by-step, so that you can make best use of the new promotions being announced by Transak today.
Visit Zilliqa — supported by Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox, to get this process started today, and follow the below instructions.
Step 1: Enter in the chosen amount of INR (Indian Rupees) or GBP (Great Britain Pounds) to the box under “Buy Crypto to your wallet.” You should be able to see the exact amount of $ZIL you’ll receive from that transaction. Adjust amounts as required.
Step 2: You will be redirected to a box where you need to add your wallet information.
Step 3: Add your email address for verification purposes.
Step 4: You should receive a code in your inbox. Please enter it accurately when prompted.
Step 5: Fill in your personal details (Name, Contact Information, Date of Birth) and then your address (street, city, ZIP code, country).
Step 6: The KYC process begins here. Keep some form of government-authenticated ID in hand such as a driver’s license, national identity card, or a passport. Upload the chosen ID.
Step 7: You will also need to send proof of address (passport, payslip, government ID, utility bill etc.), so make sure to keep this scanned and ready.
Step 8: Upload a selfie or photograph as part of the cross-check procedures.
Please be patient, as the verification process can take anywhere from 5–10 minutes.
Step 9: Once you are verified, you can enter bank details either through your local bank account (full name, UK Sort Code, account number) or via the IBAN option (account holder + IBAN number).
Step 10: Complete payment from your verified account address. The amount you choose to spend in INR or GBP is transferred from your bank to Transak’s Bank. Make sure all information is correct. After they receive it, Transak will deposit the equivalent $ZIL (minus any transaction charges, which is usually indicated in Step 1) to your wallet.
You can expect to receive the ZIL in your wallet within 1–3 minutes.
